Your personal participation at those critical moments did not go unnoticed. In my opinion, that is necessary in a custom build situation and you certainly delivered. The hurdles didn’t seem as high or unachievable after we talked through a strategy to contend with the obstacle of the moment.

I wanted to send a belated “Thank You” for the help William Douglas Homes provided Steve and I four years ago as we went under contract on our home. At the time, we talked about our plans to have my parents move in with us. William Douglas Homes was very helpful in providing suggestions to us based on your experience.
About eight months after my parents moved in my Father was diagnosed with colon cancer. The personal assistance we received in customizing our home with the in-law suite made his last three years absolutely wonderful. He was very impressed with the quality of the craftsmanship of William Douglas Homes and shared his pride. He and my Mother often said they felt like every day was like being on vacation in their new home. For the first time in his life my Dad lived in a home with a garage and the day he sold the home they lived in for 49 years he went out and bought a himself a new car for the garage. He was also able to finally have the workshop he always fantasized about for 60 years- it is now the envy of anyone who sees it.
Most importantly, in his final months as his condition worsened, we really appreciated the extra touches William Douglas Homes built into our home. Doors and hallways customized for ample clearance for his walker and wheel chair and ample shower space for a chair and assistance. My Father was so at home in our William Douglas Home it was his request to have hospice care at home and spend his last days at here. We were very pleased to honor that wish for him. We all miss him terribly but all of my brothers and sisters were grateful that he spent his last few years so happy in his new surrounding and able to really enjoy himself.
