William Boettner and Douglas Milburn founded their namesake company, William Douglas Homes, in 1995. After establishing a close working relationship for a leading national home builder, Bill and Doug decided to pool their talents into their own company. In that first year, an intense "hands-on" approach was developed that is still evident today. The entire William Douglas Homes team is dedicated to exceeding the buyer's expectations.

The owners have always been focused on creating a solid home building company. Bill Boettner's background includes a B.A. from the University of Maryland and an MBA from American University. He also remodeled historic homes in our nation's capital and spent 12 years in residential construction management prior to founding William Douglas Homes. Doug Milburn earned a B.S. in Construction Management from Virginia Tech and spent 10 years in sales and construction of new homes prior to starting William Douglas Homes. Their experience alone combines thousands of homes and over 30 years of home building. Bill and Doug are very involved with the construction and customer relations of each and every home that bears their names.
